Brush your dog daily. Both breeds shed quite a bit, so it’s something you can’t stop and you’ll just have to get used to.
Regular brushing and a quality diet help, but nothing will stop it.
I would speak to your dog groomer as they will be able to give you some advice.
hard rubber curry comb used daily for about an hour
furminator shampoo treatment
good vacuum
quality good
good genes
Brush your dog daily with a Furminator… works amazingly.
A furminator will go a long way towrds taking the fur off the dog before it goes everywhere else.
A Dyson Absolute Animal vacuum cleaner will get the fur out – I hear there is a new model, as well.
Also – try a commercial size squegee from Home Depot to get it off the rug or floor first – it should peel right off if you go with the knap of the rug.
When you bathe your dog you can use a "zoom groom" which is a simple looking rubber tool you can get in a pet store and it really grabs looser hair. You can use it before the bath and then use it while bathing to get rid of even more hair. Another tool you can get is a furminator:

In addition, pet stores sell supplements for skin and coat to help lessen shedding, as well as shampoo and hair care products for dogs to help lessen shedding. A good quality diet will help with this a lot as well. Sometimes adding fish oil capsules to your dogs diet can help, too.
