What Is the Pet Supplies Market Missing?

by Discount Pet Supplies on October 26, 2012

I have recently set up a small business selling all types of pet supplies. It has been quite successful and I was just wondering what all you pet owners feel that this market is missing. I'm sure that all of us have thought of ideas for our pets that would make their lives more fun or easier for us to look after them. I would be grateful for your comments as I believe we can make this market better. Thanks in advance!

A realistic animal plush that wont get torn to pieces 30 minutes after I give it to the dog.
My mutt loves running after a squirrel or duck plush -especially one that squeaks, but none of the ones I can find will withstand her rough housing.
Even if the seams do not split (they usually do) then the cloth itself will tear apart.

Also – a harness that a clever dog cannot escape from.
I’ve tried the ones that start from the back, loop under the forelegs and around the neck. Supposedly, if the dog tries to get its legs out, the neck will tighten, but my dog discovered a way to wiggle out of it with no problem.
Quickly, too. =3=

It’s hard to find Algae pellets to feed my algae-eaters.
My fish tank stays really clean, so he’s barely self-sufficient in there, and I want to feed him some algae pellets as supplement, but It’s hard to find them locally. =_=

Some fish tank plants that don’t look totally fake, but aren’t ridiculously expensive. .

Tunnels for hamsters that come alone – not as part of a tiny cage tube system, but with elbows and curves you can set up in your own way, for a larger cage.
