I'm going to be setting up a larger fishtank (25-35 gallon) soon, and am curious as to what I will need to purchase to begin setting up (besides the tank, the gravel, plants.) I have a filter, but seeing as it the tank and some supplies were given to me by an uncle, I'm not sure the shape they're in, or even what to do with them. Any help will be nice!

You will need everything listed here for starting up a new aquarium: http://www.fishlesscycling.com/articles/new_aquarium_needs.html
Except of course for the optional stuff.
Make sure to cycle your tank first: http://www.firsttankguide.net/cycle.php
