What Tools and Supplies Are in Your Emergency Travel Bag When You Travel With Horses?

by Discount Pet Supplies on September 12, 2012

Little by little and incident by incident I'm learning what I need. I have now added wiring supplies and electrical hookups to the bag. I have the flat tire needs, wrenches and sockets, screwdrivers and pliers. I'm interested in what others carry for their 'oh crap' moments in the middle of no where lol.

Oh and food, I carry that for me too and winter supplies always!

Thanks!
Even tho the zombies don't make it to WY, fishing line is an excellent idea lol.

My emergency travel bag is full of zombie-fighting supplies. A gun, ammo, a radio, first aid kit, drugs, rations, small hand tools, a knife, spare socks and drawers, water purification gear, fire starter, fishing line, needles, hooks, flashlights, wire, batteries, a small flag, stuff like that.

Well, for shows I always make sure I bring two pairs of breeches or tights, Just in case. I make sure I have everything. Not only do I bring my field boots, but I also bring my paddock boots and half chaps for emergencies. I check my grooming kit three times and bring an extra halter and lead rope.

I’ve seen ppl forget almost everything there is to forget.
